Clean-up The Green Mile was a great success!

On Friday, September 15th, our first Clean-Up activity took place. Together with residents, employees of businesses and other interested individuals, we, in collaboration with De Schone Pijp and The Plastic Whale Foundation, cleaned up both on "land" and on the water. We had nearly 80 people working together and it was a tremendous success! Besides the hard work and extensive cleanup (especially cigarette butts), new connections were made, expats got to know residents and a great atmosphere emerged. A small community was formed. It was fantastic to witness and experience. This activity brought together all our pillars: nature & climate, awareness & education, and community & participation.
