Organic plants near the now occupied insect hotel

Together with David (local resident) and Kees (Groen Gemaal), a number of organic plants have been placed around the insect hotel. Groen Gemaal had dead nettle, beehive, wood thorn and a few other organic plants for us. To our great joy, the hotel is already in use! If you look closely at the tubes, you will see that some have already been "bricked" shut by, probably, the mason bee. How fun! In the autumn we will plant the entire circle, together with the municipality of Amsterdam, among others. So for now we have deliberately kept it small. In the autumn we will look at how we can plant here together with the neighborhood. We will then keep you informed.
