We’re back! This year we’re once again organizing a big cleanup along the Stadhouderskade.

On September 19th, we’ll be joining the citywide initiative Amsterdam Cleansday, where over 30,000 people will roll up their sleeves and clean up together. You can read more about it in the press release here.

Join us and make a difference!

After the successful editions of the past few years, we’re hitting the streets again to keep our neighborhood clean. Everyone is welcome, young or old, locals, expats, employees, students, the more, the merrier! So spread the word.

New this year: we’ll be weighing and photographing all the collected trash! Many participants asked for this (and we wanted it too), so we’re excited to finally make it happen. All waste will be gathered at the Hemonypleintje.

At The Green Mile, we like to combine action with fun. That’s why we’ll kick things off with coffee or tea at the Rijkstuinen, and end the afternoon with food and drinks at a great spot near the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Program – Friday, September 19th, 2025

🕙 15:00–15:15: Welcome & check-in at the Rijkstuinen (next to the Rijksmuseum)

🦺 15:15–15:30: Instructions & distribution of grabbers, vests, and supplies

🧹 15:30–16:30: Cleanup along the Stadhouderskade
