Young Minds, Cleaner Streets - research done by HvA students


In collaboration with students from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, research was conducted to identify where litter accumulates along the Stadhouderskade, what causes it, and which innovative solutions show the greatest potential. The findings highlight that lasting improvements require a combination of behaviour change, smart waste collection systems, targeted hotspot interventions, and close collaboration between the municipality, local businesses, and residents.
